GREAT place for a stop off on your way down to Devon from London. Was pulled in off the main road by the big sign advertising electric car charging and decided to hook up and stay for lunch. What a HUGE surprise. Super friendly staff and a VERY high standard of food at reasonable prices. We staid for an hour as we ate a very leisurely lunch as we explored the mini museum. Sadly the electric car charging was a little on the weak side and our hour long stop resulted in only a 1% increase in charge as these are the super small 22kw stations. A truly unique experience for a lunch stop off and charging aside we'll be back on our next trip to the South West.

Excellent stop for breakfast on the way down to Cornwall. Couple of minutes off the A303 and simple to rejoin to continue the journey. It's a little dearer than your usual places but the service and food are excellent. Lots of egg choices and there are gluten free alternatives for the bread accompaniments. On our second visit this year my wife and I had the poached eggs with portobello mushroom on gluten free bread with a hollandaise sauce. Very tasty! The eggs were perfect with a runny yolk and the sauce was excellent.

We stopped on a whim having seen is sign on the A303. Although on the pricey side my scotch egg was delicious and served with a lovely salad. I suspect it was made on the premises. Whether the restaurant is austere like some thought or modern and contemporary is a matter of opinion I suppose. Either way the free museum included taught me a thing or two about brush making!!! Friendly staff and nice coffee!

Hi Hillbrush, writing this on behalf of Tunnicliffe Signs Ltd. Just want to say your products are fantastic along with your amazing customer service team. Can't fault any of that. My low rating is for the team who decided to change your website that make it now near impossible to order from it. It was like a challenge from the krypton factor to just try and work out 1) where are the Plastic Hooks 2) how to order the plastic hooks when your search tool only suggested Stainless Steel Hooks 3)Sign into my account - well this was mission impossible until a young lady rested my password manually as your system is having issues with that 4) Back to having to work out how to order the simple plastic hook through my account page 5) in the end giving up trying to order a simple plastic hook and calling up and speaking to a fabulous lad on the sales team who ordered them for me. I normally place orders with about 60/80 items..... your new system is awful. I appreciate you have used a new company for your website but did no one test it to see how simple it would be to use or if you could order something - we all don't know the codes or have the time to flitter between 3 different open tabs to work out what the code is from one open web page to add it to a drop list another open tab away. Not just that but people also need to see the visual of what they are ordering as a code can easily be imputed incorrectly. (Think of your users with dyslexia) Again Your products and staff are fantastic - your marketing and website team need to seriously look urgently at your website as you can not order from it - and all I wanted was 50 x plastic...

I always stop off here on my way back from Surrey - primarily to use the loo! In my experience the standard of these are consistently excellent; spotlessly clean, well-stocked and pleasantly scented. Whoever is responsible for cleaning these areas has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The food is by no means cheap, but there is plenty of choice and again, the quality is invariably of a high standard. The visitor centre/museum is well worth a...
