
Took my grandkids there for the 2018 Acme festival. First seen it on a commercial, so looked it up. Read that this is a fun, free, kids event for the whole family. I decided to take my youngest two grandchildren. Well, pulling in there's staff directing traffic and asking for parking donations. Ok, i can handle that, this is a free event! There was lots of vendors, lots of choices. Of course, not free! Walk over to let our small children play on the big blow up toys. Oh, you have to buy tickets! Ok. Go buy tickets thinking everything is going to require these tickets. Best deal was 20 tickets for ten dollars. Which im sure most parents bought. Let my small children go on the biggest blow up thing! Well, had to pull them off due to them getting trampled by other kids. Go over to the second blow up bounce house. Staff was regulating this one, so it was safer for my kids. Pony rides next, COST 5 DOLLARS. Face painting, cost 1 to 3 dollars. Pumpkin decorating? Im afraid to ask how much. Time to leave, kids did most of what there was. Everything cost money. Thank god i did bring some money. Happy my kids had a good time. Next year, not sure if im coming back? Was not a FREE EVENT!!!
