I was walking with my friend along a woodland path that begins near Frolic & Detour. We stumbled upon this museum, but didn't see any signage of private property on the way from which we came. Nor were there any fences or gates. We came upon someone who I could only imagine was one of the proprietors, an elderly woman, whom we greeted, smiling and waving, with naught but demureness and curiosity, thinking, happily, to inquire as to the museum into which we had inadvertently stumbled. Yet we were not received in kind, for she responded with a manner so at odds with our greeting, that we were almost convinced it was commensurate, so confident was the response in its ire. She told us, quite ungraciously, that we were trespassing, and demanded us to pay. I say told and demanded, but the requests were so spoken as to be all but unintelligible. As I didn't have my wallet on my person (I am not in the habit of carrying my wallet while on woodland walks), I offered to go back to my car to get cash. This she vehemently refused, fearing, I can only imagine, that we would attempt to make a run for it. I then offered to pay via Venmo or Zelle. This, too, she vehemently refused, claiming no knowledge of either such app. She then scolded us for an additional 10 minutes, demanding apology, with speech now so unintelligible as to border on the animalistic, after which, utterly downcast and embarrassed, we were finally given permission to leave. VERY surreal experience. Will not be going back, inadvertently...

So please - visit them, listen to the strange music the artifacts produce, walk about and discover hidden treasures and be open-minded of what you...
Read moreMy wife was walking along a forest path toward Nara Park. Suddenly a man approached to her and he told her that it was a private property and she was trespassing. What the heck??? If you believe it’s a private property, get the proper signage!! Period. Stop harassing people who walk nearby. Geez! I was going to visit the museum someday… but not anymore....
