This forest preserve is nice to visit, there is parking if you take your vehicle. Then there is a trail so you can walk or run around. It was a bit cold but it was relaxing to walk while talking. I saw other people with their family and a few just by themselves, getting their steps in. They have a calendar of events and it includes fishing, volunteering and stuff for the kids to do. Read moreThis park is beautiful with a path along a the pond that has small fish and turtles. Has plenty of picnic benches and even a few pavilions with a charcoal grill. There is plenty of parking spaces. There are a couple of water pumps if you need it. My only dislike is that there are outhouse style bathrooms that don't even have doors on the stalls and the main door is just a screen door.
