Relaxed & Scenic Wine Tasting at Gilbert Cellars 🍷🌿 Gilbert Cellars offers the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor seating—we enjoyed both during our visit! We started our tasting outside, relaxing in the grass at the edge of the vineyard. The self-paced wine flight was a great way to sip and savor at our own rhythm, and we appreciated how the tables were spaced out enough to allow for a peaceful, private experience. While we were there, we grabbed a bite from Buen Taco, a fantastic food truck parked on-site (check schedule for who will be on site during your visit)—highly recommend if you see it there! After our flight, we headed inside to unwind with a glass of wine and some chocolate while enjoying beautiful views of the patio and vineyard from indoors. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual, and it’s both dog- and kid-friendly, which makes it a great stop for families and pet lovers alike. A lovely place to spend an afternoon!

We had a last-minute, small wedding in Yakima (due to a family member's terminal illness). As you can imagine, planning a second wedding (a few months before our celebration in Denver), on a tight timeline and halfway across the country, was beyond stressful! Lucky for us, we selected Gilbert as our venue. Their tasting room was cozy, their grounds were gorgeous, and their team was so kind. We couldn't recommend them more.

Amazing property! Had the pleasure of a private tour over the summer, and was astounded by the beauty of the vineyard and ranch.

It was great to see the winemaking process (and resist the urge to stomp on the grapes myself), the underground cellar (awesome!), and the patio/amphitheater area was set amongst the most gorgeous wildflowers. Great selection of wines to taste along the way as well.

Maybe it was the rose talking, but I was tempted to leave a deposit for a wedding on the spot and figure out the whole husband detail later.

Great wine…but experience can be a bust depending on how busy they are. In one instance of mine it was (was overcharged for 2 bottles i had to turn around after leaving to grab, even though I asked her to make sure it was right before i left because the total seemed off) and a few other visits it wasn’t. So I guess its luck.

They definitely treat existing club members with white gloves, but I can’t say they offer new folk the same experience.

Might be better off ordering or doing a grocery store pick up. Which just makes trying new thing they offer...
