Gilbert Orchards — Attraction in Ahtanum

This shipper made me lose alot of money. Called early in the day to pickup here first was told nope not ready til after 3pm go load other places. I had 4 pickups 3 within 30 miles and the last about 130 miles. Called again at 2 pm again told not ready til after 5pm. Called to let them know i was on my way at 4pm. The shipping lady told me yeah you have to be here by 4:59pm with 59 seconds. Sped to get there. Got in at 5:05pm made me do the shipping document and then told we cant load you til tomorrow your late. 6 other truckers came in late after me got okays. So I asked to speak with Luis the manager. Pointless he said we're running behind with 15 trucks so we can't load you but we can load any other late carriers we feel are more important because you arrived 5 minutes after 5pm and they arrived 1 hour after 5pm. Moral of this place is doesn't matter if your load is not ready UNTIL THE END OF THE DAY pass by and CHECK IN. The shipping ladys misinformed me the whole day till 4pm where they laughed at me not being able to arrive on time. And the manager Luis although i would definitely understand that they were running behind, then why are you taking other trucks well after 5pm this was 6pm, and i was 5 minutes...

I honestly have nothing bad to say about sean he is so welcoming, but i think if the owner could look more into how they treat their workers and how toxic the work atmosphere is. They run their lines fast every once in a while to the point where they want us to hurry up and pack fast but when sean comes to check things out they have the audacity to slow down the line to make it seem like everything is under control when it reality as soon as sean is gone everything becomes a mess apples everywhere workers being overworked it’s just so sad to see. They dont really care about their workers to be honest some supervisors in charge are toxic and think because they are higher level they got power mistaken. Appointment is at 11:30am got here on time but the product was not ready and have me wait till 1pm. I have to call and follow up the order then told me to check in an other hour, 2pm comes around and i called back, they said it will be ready around 3pm. Its half pass 3pm and still nothing plus i explain to the receptionist that i still have to pick up another load for this same order which was 2.5 hours drive away and the close at 6pm but still waiting for my call back.
