It's nice! This addition to Aiken has been a real treasure. The entire community has benefited from this center in multiple ways. We have concerts here, graduations here, special events here, games here, and all kinds of cool things. My only gripe about this place is that traffic in and out during events is hell...they have to get police out in the road to direct traffic. Some traffic lights at the entrances /exits would really be a game changer for this location...even if they were only operated for events because this place can get crazy quick when something is going on here. The facilities aren't the newest but are still clean and comfortable. The only staff we encountered were at the ticket office and we had no issues. The seating was very comfortable, with a padded back and padded seat. Concessions were quite average, but affordable. $10 got us nachos, popcorn and two drinks. Bathrooms were clean. If the arena is packed I would anticipate a line for the bathrooms, but there was no issue for a lower attended basketball game.
Leaving can get a bit crowded, but there are two exits to the parking lot, so that eases some...
Read moreI had to come here to watch a volleyball tournament (to improve my volleyball skills or whatever my coach said lmao) and the arena was HUGE! The seats were very soft, accompanied by cup holders. And the view of whatever you go there for is always amazing (no annoying heads in your way lol)
There is a little snack shop up on the back right-hand corner of the arena, I don't know what the prices of the nachos and hot dogs are, but they always have backup people who become tired of making the snacks and/or drinks for you which is what my volleyball...
