Metro Parks Serving Summit — Attraction in Akron

They do a wonderful job on the parks and trails winding through and inbetween the cities in the area from Cleveland to Akron and beyond. Not all the parks, trails and nature realm allow dogs ... I do hope that someday dogs are allowed everywhere that food is not prepared. Also, they prefer more hours invested so younger volunteers these days, but I guess they are needed for the expanding Park system we're lucky...

1st concert by the lake this evening... Monroe Falls. Super!! I'll be back for the July and August concerts also. Can't think of a better way to enjoy a summer evening than a simple but tasty picnic, good conversation, and then sit back and enjoy some live and toe-tapping music. Easy on the budget as well...
