I did this home on a clear day, and wow, the views were incredible!! There were so many fresh berries on the side of the trail that we were able to eat, although be cautious and know which ones are which cause there were also toxic berries. We saw a black bear at the top, but he was well over 500 yards away. It was an easy three miles up and the miles down. Not hard at all and the views of the mountain were some of the best I've ever seen! Definitely recommend!! Also, the facilities were clean and well...

This hike was an awesome surprise. We didn’t know much about it other than it could offer great views of Denali if she decided to show herself. Trail is in great shape, easy to walk on. Moderate incline and even if Denali is not out, it’s worth it once you get to the top. It’s like a different world up there and very peaceful. Definitely worth it. I believe it was a little over 3 miles each way. I’ve tagged it as an out and back but there is a longer option to do a loop at the top or even...

Nice trail, not overly difficult but definitely an incline most of the way. When you get toward the top, you can turn it into a loop by adding an extra mile or just do it out and back. Lovely views at the top, as well as several places on the way. If you're parking there, be sure to pay the $5 fee (credit card accepted) and stick the ticket on your dash. Saw a ranger handout out $60 tickets to those who...

Parking is big and the trail is wonderful. Nice long switchbacks, perfectly groomed trails, makes this hike great for all skill level hikers. You are going UP on dirt so keep that in mind. The views are to die for. On a clear day you get amazing views of the Alaska range and Denali. With every switchback the view gets better. Winter trail is touch. Highly recommend using snow shoes or back country skis
