Farmhouse Visitor Center at Creamer's Field — Attraction in Alaska

I absolutely love Creamers Field, a beautiful place and a truly inspiring story behind it. I love coming here for a walk or a run, or just to sit on a bench and bird watch. Seen everything from norther harriers to tree swallows, merlins to rusty blackbirds, and even a varied thrush once! The farm house is part museum and part office space for local ecological programs, an interesting location that's both fun to visit and informative! Super cute and super tiny. Converted house of the original dairy farmers. Helpful staff, lots of family and kids events that you can attend for free but give donations if you can! Decorated on the inside with dairy farm memorabilia but also books, wildlife gifts made by local people, taxidermied animals and various skulls and things you can look at to learn about the local wildlife. At Christmastime they have a day with a bonfire, cider, caroling, a luminary walk and they decorate the farmhouse with lights. Definitely an attraction you...

Love Creamer's field always. The bird sanctuary is nestled in the bottom of the Tanana river valley and is home to all sorts of birds, small songbirds and beautiful waterfowl.
