Polar Bear Exhibit — Attraction in Alaska

So we came here mid August and did not see a polar bear. Sat for an hour or so before asking the front desk when was the best time. They told us right when they open in the morning because that is when they are fed. We are going back today (mid September) right when the doors open. My rating is primarily based on how the tanks are maintained. There is a clear glass at the top and bottom that you can’t even see through because it’s so dirty. I love this place with or without the kids. The trails are well maintained, even in winter. There are plenty of benches, a picnic area near the playground, restrooms in a couple of locations(gift shop, coffee shop, and discovery center).
