Visiting the Reindeer Farm in Alaska was an absolutely amazing experience! We had the chance to meet so many different animals, and the setting itself was breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains. Even the drive from Anchorage to the farm was a treat—so scenic and beautiful.
The guided excursion was fantastic. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about every animal on the farm. It was clear how much he loves and cares for not just the animals, but the farm as a whole. The animals were all well cared for and looked happy and healthy.
Although it’s called a Reindeer Farm, it’s home to so much more! Alongside the reindeer, we saw moose, cows, alpacas, llamas, pigs, yaks, various poultry, and probably even more that I’m forgetting. A special highlight of our visit was meeting an adorable 2-month-old piglet—such a sweet surprise!
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, perfect for animal lovers and anyone looking to spend a day in a beautiful and welcoming environment. If you’re ever in Alaska, I highly recommend visiting the...
Read more❤️Absolutely the most incredible people!❤️Reindeer Farm saved my 16yo son and his girlfriend’s Valentine’s Day, (and another random couple). Although previous joint plans had been made with the Farm and another business, (and he was so excited that he done a good job pre-planning/paying for V-day), the other business backed out the DAY BEFORE Valentine’s Day. My son was crushed, had no idea what to do, restaurants were booked, it’s tons of pressure, etc. But Reindeer Farm came thru, holding up their end of the deal, and showed them, and the other couple, an excellent time. My son and his girlfriend came back super happy and really excited, showing everyone their pictures and videos, telling us all about the different animals there and talked about how nice everyone was. His girlfriend said it was way better than dinner or a movie. You guys are amazing! THANK YOU!! By the way, sounds like you have a lot more there than you used to, back in the day when my kids did field trips. We will definitely come out again. I give you a...
Read moreWe had an absolutely AMAZING 2.5-hour private tour at the Williams Reindeer Farm on the “Grandpa Tom’s Farm Tour,” and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska!
Our guide for the day was the farm’s owner, which made the experience even more special. We got so much fascinating firsthand information about the animals, the farm’s history, and the surrounding environment. It felt like such a privilege to hear these stories directly from someone so passionate and knowledgeable.
During the tour, we saw, interacted with, and even got to hand-feed so many animals—reindeer, bison, moose, highland cows, yaks, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, chickens, a turkey, bunnies, reptiles, bees, and even a sweet guardian dog named Delilah. Each stop felt magical and personal, and we left with smiles plastered on our faces.
If you’re anywhere near the area, don’t miss this experience. It’s fun, educational, and unforgettable—we can’t recommend it...
