I should have written this sooner but.. WOW! Words cannot do it justice. I embarked on this journey as birthday adventure back on 8/5 last month. The weather was phenomenal. Warm and blue skies for miles with almost no breeze at all. The hike to reach the bridges was no small feat for an out-of-shape woman like myself and definitely not for the feint of heart with the scary vertical drops to one side of the trail as we made our way up. I wish I had made note of the names of our guides that day because they were amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, motivating, and they provided genuine encouragement every step of the way. Not once did I feel embarrassed for being out of shape and huffing/puffing the whole way up or like I was holding the group back. They were truly awesome human beings and it was clear they enjoyed their job. I cannot say THANK YOU enough for making my birthday the incredible adventure that it was.

My family (ages 16 and up) and I really enjoyed this thrilling adventure! The skybridges were built in 2023. Our guides were fun, friendly and professional. Safety was top priority. They fitted us w a helmet and safety harness and always made certain we were safely clipped in before crossing a bridge. After riding the gondola to 2,300 ft elevation, we climbed another ~500 ft (steep but definitely doable for average fitness level) before arriving at the 1st of 2 skybridges. They let us take as many photos as we wanted along the way. The views were spectacular! And the added thrill of climbing the cable bridges made it so fun! Would definitely do it again. the experience of a lifetime and a must while you’re visiting Alaska and near Girdwood. Even the scenic drive out there is so worth it. I did this excursion and then the Nordic spa at the resort as soon as I touched down in Anchorage, despite a crazy, long flight beforehand, and it was absolutely the best decision I could have made. Izzy was hands down the best tour guide ever! Not only was she the sweetest, kindest soul but she was also incredibly knowledgeable about the terrain and history of the Alaskan mountains, sports, culture, and the Pacific. I learned so much from her in a just few short hours. This is truly a memory I will cherish forever! Thank you, Izzy, Andre, Mike, and Alyeska Resort...
