A very nice park with great views both of the lagoon and connections to the coastal trail and other trails that lead into town. It's a great place for walks or biking. During the warmer months the food carts with reindeer dogs are open and always a treat.
Bird wise: this is a great place to bird for water birds. You can see a number of waterfowls including teals, mallards, shoveled and Canada geese. I even got a lifer greater white-fronted goose, when I used to live in the area.
