I came here for a walk before dinner to get some steps in and to expand my appetite. Upon arrival, my visit was on a cloudy and windy day, but it was still nice since it was early. Great place to get some nice photos, walk your dog and for exercise. You can see both the Golden Gate Bridge and bay bridge on a clear day. I do recommend bringing a sweater with you if you will walk around, since it’s by the water and it can get cold quick. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a walk or if you are just in the area. I definitely will be back to explore more of the area.

I never knew there was a beach there. It's pretty. I didn't get to walk the trails, but sat at the beach for about an hour there are tons of dogs that come through there, but the parasailers launch from the beach and it's cool to watch. It's VERY very windy so dress warm

This 1.9-mile loop trail near Albany offers easy terrain with minimal elevation gain, making it perfect for all skill levels. It's a popular area for birding, fishing. The trail is well-maintained and open year-round, providing beautiful scenery in every season.

We made the mistake of coming here on a Sunday morning around 9:30 am. Parking is a joke, virtually impossible, and limited. We had heard several recommendations from our friends who love "The bulb & the beach" for walking their dog(s). We hated it! It was extremely dirty, out of control dogs, irresponsible dog owners, fighting dogs who's owners were dismissive of their dogs behavior. We left in under 10 minutes and 3 dog fights with the owners not caring! We will NOT be back. The Albany waterfront trail is probably fine, it was the people and dogs behaving badly that get the less than one star!!! Oh! And, our dog did get in the bay and stunk like a skunk all the way home till we could...

Albany Beach offers a peaceful spot by the San Francisco Bay with scenic views of the water and surrounding landscape. It’s relatively quiet, making it a nice place to relax or take a walk along the nearby paths. The beach has picnic tables, and visitors may enjoy some wildlife in the area. While not a major destination, it’s a good place for a calm, low-key...
