Lower Falls Recreation Site — Attraction in Albany

Gorgeous area and I love that you can walk on the rocks and get into the river. There is a sign cautioning the strong current. Can't wait to visit in the summer and get in that water. One of the best natural swimming spots in the North. Must visit have a picnic bring your whole family & fury friends are welcome. Just a beautiful sight, water is invigorating. Rocks you can safely jump off sandy islands for little ones, paths to easily access the water. Perfect for all ages. Has bathrooms & plenty of parking....

I would consider this more "rapids" than "falls" however it was quite beautiful and easily discovered right off the road. Follow the path a bit as there are spots on which you can carefully walk out on to large bolders and get quite close to the water. Be extremely careful if you do. The wet rocks are...
