I appreciate the museums like this one that are taking the time and energy to connect with the LGBTQIA2S+ community, even when it's not easy. Some members s of the public might claim there's no local queer history - this is false. There has been, and always will be local queer history. When an identity has been marginalized and silenced for centuries, it's easy to bury your head in the sand and pretend that history doesn't exist. Thank you!

It's a small Museum, but there's a lot of character and history packed into it. There's a LOT of ground to cover if you want to take a self-guided tour, and even though the Library appears to have some odd hours (volunteers), they are informative when you do get one.
The only suggestion I have is to not be insulting. I think I overheard the owner or manager scolding someone because they were asking questions. Not professional whatsoever. But, the place itself is nice, if you get past the privilege of the owner(s).

In fact it was surrounded by a chain link fence so we couldn't go near them. It is only open by appointment.
