Bust Out Escape Room — Attraction in Albuquerque

What an amazing experience!!! Totally worth the money! I feel like my money was well worth the experience!!! Bring your A-GAME and prepare for an incredibly well thought out story. 5 of us did the Crystal Lake challenge with 12 minutes to spare, but I can't put into words the fun it was working together. First of all it's probably important to say that this is more of a 16yr+ kind of thing. Definitely not 12 and would really be pushing it because of the complexity etc. Now to the good, this experience opened up a whole new dynamic in my relationships with my teammates (Brothers and friends). It made us stop thinking as individuals and morphed us into being one cohesive unit with a common goal. The staff is fantastic and completely dedicated to your experience and most importantly your well being. I never thought opening locks could be so FUN! There's a rubiks in the lobby that you can try to solve, which is a challenge in itself. Solving this mystery was like, "A riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma." Definitely one of the most purely fun and entertaining things I've come across in a very long time. I wish I lived here to be able to go back...

Great escape room! Our family is pretty experienced with escape rooms, but the last one we did here (Crystal Lake) had tons of elements that were both novel, fun, and challenging. The room seemed like a relatively small old-style room (which would have been fine) but it later opened into something more, which was a pleasant surprise. It also had plenty of unique practical puzzles and obscure technical gizmos beyond the usual staples like finding keys and opening padlocks.

There are a lot of good escape room companies and if you want to geek out and compare them you can get into pros and cons, but mostly I only have minor nitpicks about this place. But in any case, let's be realistic: just from a "did I have fun, was it awesome, and would I book here again with friends and family" the answer is...

My little group of four has done a vast number of escape rooms in multiple states and this is by far the best! We did the Summer at Crystal Lake room first and then proceeded to do the Bunker right afterwards! This was after doing two rooms at the other location the day before! The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The were extremely accommodating of everything we needed and made the experience that much better. The rooms are absolutely genius! We did the Jumanji room first and it was like nothing we had ever seen! The effects were so spot on and the rooms were very immersive! The themes were shown throughout the rooms and even the tiniest details were thought of! If you enjoy escape rooms that make you feel like you really are part of the story, I highly recommend...
