You'll never believe you're in the middle of the city when you visit this place. Lots of areas to explore. It's a bunch of open fields with roads through the area and irrigation ditches, with a community garden on the northwest side of the fields. Full of all kinds of animals... Coyotes, porcupines, crawdads and fish in the ditches, some beavers, skunks, lots of birds especially during the migration times, and the wetter seasons lots of toads that make a ton of noise especially at night. Read moreSafe for the most part. Out of the 11 years I've been coming here, I've felt mostly safe. My mom's car got broken into a few years back. It was parked while we were having family pix taken. I haven't had to utilize the parking area since. I think it has a restroom area.
