You'll never believe you're in the middle of the city when you visit this place. Lots of areas to explore. It's a bunch of open fields with roads through the area and irrigation ditches, with a community garden on the northwest side of the fields. Full of all kinds of animals... Coyotes, porcupines, crawdads and fish in the ditches, some beavers, skunks, lots of birds especially during the migration times, and the wetter seasons lots of toads that make a ton of noise especially at night. There is dog poop bags and a few trash cans, no drinking water, one bathroom at the parking lot off Montano. You can take some great photos in this area too! Go...

Safe for the most part. Out of the 11 years I've been coming here, I've felt mostly safe. My mom's car got broken into a few years back. It was parked while we were having family pix taken. I haven't had to utilize the parking area since. I think it has a restroom area.

BEAUTIFUL views and wildlife. They have new art structures and benches now. Great place for running, pix, dog walk or just a stroll to one of the benches and soak in the...

Great place that is great for little ones and those wanting to learn more about our region. There is a lot of information of how it came to be and what is growing there. The people were very friendly and helpful; it's great to see the community working together.

There's a fun playground for toddlers and kids of...

A rural swath of public land smack dab in the city, Los Poblanos Open Fields (not to be confused with Los Poblanos the private farm resort) is a lovely spot for a walk or run year round. Leashed dogs are okay. There are port-a-potties. Bring water.
