Beautiful park and fairly quiet area though close to a fairly big/busy road. Love the combo of bigger kid playground & workout equipment & then the Library across the open field to the south. The dog park, which is divided into small/large breed is really very nice. Favorite features are frequent trash and poo bag stations as well as water throughout the length of the fenced space. Shade is good and weeds are overall maintained well. There are shaded benches that are in good shape and concrete walking paths. Around the park is both nice wide sidewalks and a bike path. Only con, in my opinion, is the cedar chips at the dog park. But that is just because I wear flip flops a lot. Tennis shoes for next time.

Great for a Monday mid day it was busy. Counted about 10 dogs coming and going. Several were uncut males so if you have a female that isn't spayed, you might want to mind her cycle and just be aware. Most were well behaved though. Plenty of room for everyone to run in the large fenced area. They have city water with several bowls available. Some cities turn the water off in the winter to keep pipes from bursting so as it gets colder you may want to bring your own water just in case. People were friendly and seemed to watch monitor their...

This is a great place for children to have a good time, made especially enjoyable by 2 YO-YO type swinging rides, one of which is a chair that accomodates the disabled. There are excerise stations, 2 slides, baby and child swings, and a tornado style slide, which needs repair as does the excercise equipment. The park has huge green grassy fields that lend themselves to frisbee tossing, pickup soccor practice, or other fun that requires large open spaces. There is a large dig park adjacent that seems to be...
