Lock Ridge Park is an amazing spot for graduation photos, family portraits, and even weddings. The stone castle-like furnace and surrounding structures give it a unique and historic charm, especially in the spring when the bluebells (grape hyacinth) are in full bloom — making it perfect for capturing beautiful photos.

The park also offers hiking, biking, nature study, and limited fishing along Swabia Creek, along with a pavilion available for private events. If you're into history, the Lock Ridge Furnace Museum offers guided tours on weekends (May to September), sharing insights into the area’s industrial past.

Photography and wedding permits are required, so make sure to check their website for details. Highly recommend visiting — it's a hidden gem for both nature lovers and...

It's a fantastic place for doing portraits or just lounging around. Also for those looking to practice climbing and jumping the ruins are very...

A nice peaceful green historical park. An excellent place to take pictures, draw, sketch and paint. Several walking paths and interesting old stone ruins. Large covered picnic area and several tables. Museum looks like it is open on Saturday and Sunday only. Plenty of parking. Open daylight hours.
