Springbrook Park — Attraction in Alcoa

This is the park that has it all. Huge area with walking trails. Winds around with views of Springbrook neighborhood, which is pleasant. A rec center to play basketball. Square dancing every Tuesday night. Other miscellaneous events held there. A spacious pavilion just beyond the rec center You can rent it for special occasions by calling Parks and Rec. Large playground with upgraded play equipment near the pavilion. A smaller but just as nice playground near the parking area. Softball field on the Darwin street side of the park. Tennis courts are rough and should be replaced. Basketball courts. Picnic tables and grills. Lots of room. Easy to see from Springbrook road...

Beautiful clean park. I recently had surgery and have some medical issues going on. I need to walk a bit and get some exercise in. This place has been perfect. My boys play basketball and I walk the trails. There are benches set up all around and in nice shady areas so I can rest when needed. Loved watching the squirrels. If you love the game Pokémon there are multiple gyms and stops throughout. So nice having a clean pretty place to get out and about. Also have a box in the middle of the park that’s is for the little free library. I came this morning and stocked it...

What a great little park. They have so many activities to do. It has a wonderful walking path that is connected to the Greenways. They have tennis courts that have been kept up pretty well. They have just recently updated the playground area and I think they are great for the kids. The outdoor basketball area probably could use an update and a revamp on safety. Some spots on the outdoor courts have a 1-2 foot drop from pavement to dirt. Other than that the place is very well kept up, clean, and a great joy to have in...
