Creekside Park Dog Park — Attraction in Aliso Viejo

It’s always out of dog poop bags, residents take them home. I’ve never seen the dog cops making a round to make a presence. The owners let their dogs climb on the benches, so they are covered in mud giving us no where to sit. These are Adults who spank their kids for not thinking... yet they don’t think about others.. Classic right? The separation of small and large needs a screen to cover the fence... and there are a few owners that feel their golden retriever is a 8 month old puppy that towers over the other small dogs should be allowed in the Small Yard with small dogs- people don’t think... oh and parking is for only 10 cars, otherwise you will park clear up the hill or down the hill, due to residential parking.... but at least we...

I used to love this dog park! We went everyday, except for Wednesdays when it was closed. It has been closed for a little over a month now for renovations, but I came back for the first time today and I was so upset to find that it is now all wood chips. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it before, it had grass, (not completely covering it), but that’s to be expected at any dog park. Now the entire thing is covered in wood chips. We will definitely be finding a new dog park, my dog absolutely hates the wood chips and got a splinter almost immediately. Not only that but I’ve noticed a lot of dogs like to eat the wood chips. Definitely a very poor decision...

I wanted to post the address of this new dog park. It’s in the Creekside Park located in Aliso Viejo. The address is 25894 Cedarbrook. Not much parking but the dog park is a good size. It’s separated into two parks one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. I’m not sure if it’s complete yet but there is only one water fountain by the parking lot. Maybe I missed it?
