Wonderful place to walk, run, bike, or roller blade. I saw all of these yesterday. If you can go during less busy hours, there's still enough traffic to feel very safe. And fewer bikers flying by. It's an easy way to escape the sounds of the city for a while and drink in the sounds of nature. Many birds and squirrels of course, and often heron and deer. Once in many many trips there I did see a copperhead crossing the sidewalk. And I've seen a long non venomous snake once - that one was cool to watch. Also, the trail is clean. But don’t go after it rains a lot because it does flood. That’s about it....
