My, now, husband and I had our wedding here the past weekend. I cannot say enough about how special that day was and not just because we got married. Of COURSE the wedding was special but here are things that made it flawless: Harmony is a true professional. Warm, creative, thoughtful, patient, and scrappy. She makes you feel confident she can solve any problem or at least will be direct if she cannot. We felt confident giving up the reigns.
The property is more stunning than in pictures, which is hard to do. Multiple guests were surprised, even after seeing photos, that there were rolling hills around. Every bedroom is thoughtful and LARGE! The smallest rooms which are the cabins and one room in the Hitchin' Barn are still spacious and thoughtfully decorated. Every single person in our group was impressed with their accommodations and felt really treated. Despite this air of our guests feeling pampered they also felt at HOME which lead to a comfortability often not obtained with a mixed group at weddings. Harmony made recommendations for all our services and we used each of them outside of the wedding photographer who was not available. AMAZING. While some of the vendors were a bit more organized than others they all came in an CONQUERED during the actual event. We were not necessarily dedicated to an "instagram worthy" ceremony but that is exactly what we got. Harmony and her daughter made the wedding setup seem effortless. We commented to one another how things just "seemed to happen" and multiple people came up to us and said the same thing. This is made even more remarkable due to the fact that all these things that seemed to just happen were occurring right around us. Even when Harmony's daughter hurt her toe (I mean, crushed it) things just kept moving.. I am still thinking about that toe and hope it heals up okay! Thank you! Finally, for us, it meant a lot to be working with fantastic people. I cannot imagine what type of person could book here and be unhappy. I do not think I would want to be friends with anyone that could fall into that category! From someone who really enjoys meeting wonderful people, and appreciates a vibe that is not just 100% contractual, we were so glad we invested in this family's business. They are building something very special for many brides and grooms because THEY are special warm people.
Clearly, we highly recommend them for a wonderful destination wedding. We were honored to be one of their first weddings (you never would have known) and we hope this review promotes other couples to start their life off together with such a treasured experience.
Thank you Harmony and family. We could not have kick started our married life off with such gusto...
Read moreThe Wild Rose Ranch is a wonderful gem of a getaway. To begin with, my goodness - the scenery! The property is surrounded by the most breathtaking nature. It’s unreal what a little slice of heaven it is.
I stayed in one of the cabins next to the main lodge, and it was just perfect. The cabins are the right size for an individual or a couple: cozy, comfortable, and yet somehow very spacious, given how petite they are. I loved how secluded and serene the property is.
If you get the chance to stay in a cabin individually, I highly recommend it for a weekend to get away and recharge.
While in the area, I also joined in the family’s fall cattle drive. That cattle drive is the real deal! For several days, you herd cattle down through Southern Utah into Northern Arizona. Again, the scenery and sights were unreal. I was outfitted with a horse and all the gear I’d need, given some pointers on the art of herding cattle (it’s an art, let me tell you), and then set off to work alongside the cowboys. It’s hard work, but it’s so worth it. At the end of each day, we all looked forward to getting in to camp for a hot meal, a warm bedroll, and when time allowed, fireside conversation and songs.
I loved the cattle drive, and would jump at the chance to do it again. I laugh now at how I can’t stop bragging to my friends now that I’m a “real cowgirl.”

Finally, I have to say - the hostess Harmony and her family are some of the most sincere people you’ll ever meet. If staying the Wild Rose alone doesn’t make your trip to Southern Utah worth it, I promise meeting the Cox family will. I came into town a stranger and left feeling...

I had an amazing time at The Wild Rose Ranch. From the moment I booked this trip Harmony was on top of it when it came to answering questions, planning for my arrival at the ranch, and finding ways for all the guests to connect and grow life long friendships! With not having a ton of experience on a horse as well as riding with a torn ACL I was still able to have a great time doing my part to herd cattle while taking in the beautiful scenery! Before and after the cattle drive myself and the other guests got to join Dustin, Harmony and the rest of their lovely family for a delicious dinner where we again got to learn more about one another. Throughout the trip there were so many kind acts that truly made me feel like I was apart of their family. For me this experience has created memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t wait to check this adventure off the...
