Seacrest Beach — Attraction in Alys Beach

Imagine if you went to Disney World only to find out some rich folks had bought Epcot, MGM, AK, and all of the MK except for Adventureland. Imagine you and the other unsuspecting guests all packed shoulder-to-shoulder in Adventureland. Imagine you reached the entrance of Tomorrowland to find signs threatening your arrest if you entered, even though the rides are open and there’s no guests there. Imagine if you entered anyway thinking nobody should be allowed to own Tomorrowland only to be threatened with arrest.

Unfortunately, I don’t need to imagine this experience, we lived it at Seacrest Beach. I wish I had taken a picture I could share of all the people packed into 500 feet of beach and then nothing but Keep Out or get Arrested signs for as far as the eye can see.

If you decide to go to Seacrest Beach, do not bother bringing a football, soccer ball, volleyball, or Frisbee, you will have no space to use them. Do not come expecting to sit near the water, the umbrella companies own that. Expect to see, and smell, overflowing garbage, and overflowing showers.

Don’t expect it to feel anything...

In my myriad adventures across the globe, from the azure waters of the Maldives to the rugged coastlines of Cornwall, few places have captivated my soul quite like Seacrest Beach. It's not just a beach; it's a dreamscape brought to life.

As the day wanes, the sun embarks on its descent, painting the sky in hues of gold, crimson, and lavender, a masterpiece unrivaled by even the most illustrious artists. But it's not just the sunsets that steal one's breath. The sand—oh, the sand! It's as if Mother Nature, in her infinite wisdom, decided to blanket this haven with the softest, coldest white grains, each reflecting the sun's brilliance in a shimmering dance.

The waves whisper tales of ancient mariners, of lovers' trysts, and of nature's eternal beauty. Every footstep you take feels like a gentle caress, a communion with the Earth itself.

While most places would be fortunate to receive a mere five stars, Seacrest Beach transcends such limitations. It's not just exceptional; it's otherworldly. A resounding 10 stars, for there are few places on this Earth that can rival the magic Seacrest...

Seacrest Beach is a quiet, gorgeous alternative to the busier beaches along 30A. Offering emerald blue waters, soft sand, and tranquility - it is an excellent choice for couples looking for some peace and quiet.

Absolutely spectacular views and close to exceptional food. We've been having sunset dates here for over 10 years.
