Unfortunately our annual family vacation has started off VERY rough due to the state of our rental property. The air conditioning wasn’t on when we arrived at 4:00pm, we quickly realized it was because it WASN’T WORKING! Not sure how or why we (the guests) we’re the first to notice this since the house was cleaned and “inspected” prior to our arrival. Interior temperature read 83 degrees, we contacted ocean reef around 5pm and didn’t receive a call back or a technician until after 8pm! I called every hour and the only information they could give me was to say there’s already a work order requested on the issue. The only thing we could do was sit and wait (and pray) someone would come quick. There was no way to escalate the issue or anyone else we could call to get help, needless to say we are beyond frustrated. Regardless of the rental fee (which is an exorbitant amount of money for one week) the customer service and the situation is unacceptable. We save all year to spend this one week together at the beach and it has started out completely lacking. Once the technician arrived and got the air conditioning running, a shower of water started pouring out the vents downstairs…there are no words.
