Rick Klein Park North — Attraction in Amarillo

Nice uncrowded place to walk. However, the city of Amarillo doesn't keep the place clean. There's been glass on the sidewalk just West of the parking lot for several weeks. Heavy pickup trucks driven on grass and wet dirt to empty trash leaving tire tracks when they could park on 34th street and walk 50 feet to empty the trash can on the East end...

This park is great for walking. It has a long path and the walk takes up to 30mins to walk the whole path. Also great for walking your dog. There is a car park at the start of the walk and one at the end. Police also patrol here often so it’s safe to walk. There is public toilets and no food stores here. There is a children’s playground also...

This is not a dog park as far as I know. I have been many times. No type of enclosure for dogs to be loose. Much of the park is being gutted for drainage and widening...
