Taste of Thai — Restaurant in Amarillo

I have no complaints on the overall taste of the food from my past experiences. However, earlier this evening I called in a simple order for my family and I. I called in a vegetable soup, a vegetable fried rice, and I a beef fried rice on steamed rice. All of these options are available according to their online menu. After my order was repeated back to me, I was told there would be twenty minute wait. I arrived early and waited ten minutes in the parking lot before pulling up to the window. As I pulled up to the window, three different employees, one of whom I could only guess was a manager, asked me what I ordered. They proceeded to tell me that they don't offer vegetable soup, and they were confused about my request to have steamed rice instead of fried. In conclusion, they decided not to make any food at all, and weren't able to call me to clear the confusion because the employee who took my order did not ask for a call back number. I would be able to overlook this if they would have seemed to care or apologized instead of playing what seemed to be "hackysack" in the kitchen. In conclusion, I chose to cancel my order rather than waste any more time and it is highly unlikely that I will take my family there again which is a disappointment because the food can be good when the order is...

Got there and asked how long it would take to get an order in and served as I was on a time crunch. I was told 15-20 min to get food. GREAT! I was seated quickly and the waitress took my drink and appetizer order and didn’t come back around for a good 15 min before bringing my drink and taking my order. It was then close to another 20 min before someone else mentioned that they would bring my 1 egg roll to the table. This is while I’ve been sitting and watching them bring out appetizers and food for other tables that ordered after me. When I got the egg roll I asked how much longer the food would be and they suggested that they put it in a Togo box..I agreed at the time, but I can’t eat at work and was hoping to eat while seated. After one bite of the most HORRIBLE egg roll I’ve ever tasted, I had to let them know they needed to cancel my order so I could leave.

I offered to pay for the drink and egg roll as those were the items brought to my table, but was told to not worry about it which I appreciated.

I understand lunch hour is busy.. but being forgotten doesn’t leave a good taste in your mouth.. neither...

Just plain awful. This is not Thai food and in the end it made us physically ill. Our "pad Thai" looked like chow mein and only had thick pasta noodles (not flat rice noodles), chicken, and bean sprouts in it. The egg drop soup was scrambled eggs in a weird broth which tasted off, and the fried rice had nothing but rice (which some was clearly microwaved and crunchy) and scrambled eggs mixed in. No peas, carrots, or anything with color, and it didn't taste quite right. Nothing we ordered came out looking fresh and before we even finished eating I was in the bathroom doubled over sick. My boyfriend came into the women's restroom to check on me after I texted him to tell him I was ill, and none of the staff members showed any concern. He paid our bill (in full) and we left once I was able to. Shortly after getting home, just a few minutes away, my boyfriend fell ill as well. We will never be eating here again and will make recommendations against it for any of our friends/family in the area. We're just so...
