Nice trail system inside the city of Anacortes. Great way to get your daily hikes in. Parking is limited at the east lot (10-15 spots), but usually there are a couple empty spots even on weekends. The trail system is very good for running and hiking. The cranberry lake is substantial nicer to hike around than the smaller brother. I recommend doing a hike around the cranberry lake. If you do run, the eastern trail around the lake has more roots and rocks and the ability to run is limited. You can choose the Trail further away from the lake. In general there are a lot of trails in this area, there is always an option to extend or shorten your hike and run. Enjoy your day...

Signs are confusing so download the map. I stuck with 10 and got lost a bit when I decided to take 203 down by the water. It was worth it and I made it to the cave.
