The Washington Boat Launch is more than just a place to put your boat in the water—it's a great spot for a family outing! The area is well-maintained and offers a scenic, peaceful setting that’s perfect for spending the day outdoors.
One of the highlights is the picnic area, which is ideal for families. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills available, so it’s easy to set up for lunch or a cookout. The play area is a big hit with kids, giving them a safe and fun space to burn off some energy while the adults relax nearby.
The bathrooms are clean and conveniently located, which is always a plus when you're spending several hours outside. Whether you're there to launch a boat, enjoy a meal, or just take in the views, the Washington Boat Launch offers a great combination of recreation and relaxation.

Read moreI've never left a bad review but I have no choice on this one. I just went to this park that shows that they have a loop around the park. We were really to see Puget Sound. It was our first time. I'm in my 30-foot motorhome and there is not a single sign saying that the motorhome cannot go on the loop. There were tree limbs hanging down everywhere super sharp Corners I couldn't even take. One of the tree limbs put a hole in my awning and taking one of the corners I had to go over a rock and it put a bubble in my tire. Why would a state park where people take their RVs all the time not have a sign saying that the loop was for cars only. Makes no sense to me. Now I'm going to have to pay $1,200 for a new awning and have my tire replaced. Probably about $1,600 altogether...
Read moreGreat location. Boat launch is decent, kind of gravely but had no trouble pulling our 17 foot boat out with our mini van. The campgrounds are well maintained. Some of the sites are just a spot on the road and offer no privacy, some are pretty good. The first come, first serve sites are hit & miss. We came on a Weds and got a great spot through Sunday. Has clean restroom and hot showers free. Firewood is for sake for $5 a bundle and they are delivered to your campsite after purchasing. The day use area is large with a nice beach for the kids, picnic tables and playground equipment but were closed due to Covid (playground closed). Pets are welcome. Lots and lots of trails. You can drive the loop too...with spots to park and get to the water. A...
