Very impressive museum. I have never seen so many authentic Civil War pieces on display in one room, such as: well-kept uniforms, pistols, rifles, letters, flags, hats, binoculars, stirrups, surgery tools, various military tools, spent bullets, and a nice diorama of Camp Sumpter (the Andersonville prison) circa 1864. One unique little piece in the corner of a shelf was a human jawbone with a bullet still stuck in it that was found at Gettysburg. Mary Surratt's bonnet is there, and many other nice uniforms that were very clean and well preserved. Note: the caretaker stated that a couple of the flags were not from the civil war period exactly, but made later. The caretaker was an extremely nice and helpful lady. It cost $5 per adult, and our young daughter was free. I would definitely recommend this museum...

She helped us connect elements of the diarama (which is amazing by the way) to current locations there in Andersonville and gave us some history on the collection.
