I did 2.4 miles in just under 1.5 hours. This moderate to easy trail is a hidden gem. Not much parking. I parked off the side of the road at the entrance. The bugs were out but they weren't bad at all. No need for spraying. Some poison ivy along the trail but easily identified. Most of the trails are wide, cut back and well marked. I saw a squirrel, a few frogs, turtles, ducks, a goose and a blue heron. There are many boardwalks to cross with beautiful views of a pond. It's so peaceful out here. I only ran into one other person and their friendly dog. There are at least a dozen benches along the trail to stop and enjoy the views.

Well kept trail with variety: hilly dry deciduous forest, swamp (a boardwalk snakes through), then meadow. It's one half of a loop with Baker's Meadow. Great for little kids but be prepared to share the trail with bikers. There's an "Easter egg" for kids on the ridge. Parking on Reservation Rd. is limited, alternative is to park at the high school track & field area.

A great place to hike. This loop trail can be as long or as short as you need it to be. The trails are in great condition and the views are awesome. We parked at the high school lot and added a bit of distance. Lots of scenery and animals. Enjoy!
