Buhr Park — Attraction in Ann Arbor

Buhr park pool is our little hidden gem! Just the right size to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a good book. It opens in May and the pool is heated, so we can start pool season early!!! This year they also have a snack bar, very reasonably priced and good options, ice cream, popsicles and chips. $2-$5 We can also have pizza delivered there or bring our own food. We always pack a few sandwiches and fruits and we can spend hours there. There is also summer camp there, my boys will be going later this summer, but it is all day long (8:30-5:30) and affordable! My grand daughter loved the toddler pool with all the fountains and how clean the water is.i'm taking her back as soon as it gets hot. It's nice to know there is a place close by that gives little ones so much joy very inexpensively. I went there today going by the info on Google, the park didn't open til 4:00 pm. I wish they would keep up Google about their hours. It said open till 7:00 p.m. I am going to call before I spend half hour plus on the road. If they're not opening till 4:00, why bother for 3 hours. A nice park with play area, out door swimming pool and a kids splash zone. There is an entry fee for the pool and splash zone. The pool area has lockers, change area, shower area and restrooms all well maintained . Staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking and kids play area.
