We had the good fortune of booking our wedding at Cobblestone in early March 2020, right before everything went nuts. We delayed the wedding by a year, from spring 2021 to spring 2022, and Cobblestone was very accommodating of our new date. Connor was incredibly helpful in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, while they were trying to figure out how to host events safely, and guidelines were shifting due to COVID levels. They kept us in the loop about their COVID restrictions and helped us plan a safe, fun day at their spectacular venue! The outdoor space was lovely, welcoming, and unpretentious, with so many unique spots to hold the ceremony, take pictures, and set up an outdoor happy hour. And our guests got a kick out of the geese :) The barn is absolutely perfect for a wedding--it has the rustic charm of a barn but it's totally modern in terms of amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to help us plan our day. As someone who grew up in the neighborhood and spent time at Cobblestone when I was a kid, I'm so glad we got married at this beautiful gem of local history.

Two events. Two different events. Two different caterers. I took 2 photos. It didn't matter how hungry I was. The money and wealth in the room must have been shocked about the cuisine. Presentation - awful. Temperature of food - Cold. Poor carrots, too bland. I felt so sorry for them. One of the servers was so angry. I knew I had to send her good vibes. OMG! I wonder how much this caterer was paid to feed over 200+ folks???

Beautiful venue, helpful staff, easy access to the space. There's a nice kitchen to cook in, a bit small if you have a full team going, but perfect for a small/med event. I was here for a wedding and it was delightful.

This farmers market is held in a quaint setting with a good variety of vendors including produce, plants, eggs, honey, bread, soap, and more. They host activities including music, games, bicycle repair, and face painting.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this farmers market due to the number of unsupervised children running loose. The market specifically advertises being "family friendly," but I found it to be unfriendly to customers and vendors. In my short time visiting, I observed: Several vendors brought their young children with them, presumably for the whole day, who were screaming and crying while the vendor/parent was distracted and half-heartedly conducting business. Unsupervised children were running and flying kites in the main aisle. They ran into some customers, including elderly people with canes, etc. Children were laying in the grass in front of some vendor's tents, blocking customers from viewing the items. Unsupervised children asked a vendor for free samples, then threw the sample cups on the ground instead of looking for a waste bin, then ran off to ask the next vendor for more free samples.

I appreciate that Cobblestone is trying to make a community event, but I do not think it is a welcoming environment. I would not be comfortable bringing my parents here, because they have some difficulty walking and would easily be knocked over by the kids running around, or getting hit with a kite, ball, or scooter in the middle of the aisle. I also felt sorry for some of the vendors when unsupervised children were blocking their booths or wanting samples with no intention of making a purchase, and they also lost sales because customers could not get to the booth.

Even though I like the location, time, and variety of goods at Cobblestone Farm Market, I will not be attending this...

The staff at Cobblestone Farms are the absolute worst people in the world to deal with for this life changing event. My daughter’s wedding was scheduled for 9/11/2021. On 8/23/2021, they sent an email implementing new very strict covid protocols that pushed my daughter and her future husband to change EVERY EVENT DETAIL to have the event take place outside. Just 4 days later, on 8/27/2021 they received a second email, CANCELLING the entire event. Cobblestone personnel CANCELLED their wedding after the details to move everything outdoors had been successfully changed, just 15 days before their wedding date of 9/11/2021.

Not only did they cancel the event 15 days before it was scheduled to happen, they did it by email on a Friday just before 5pm. No phone call, and at best a pathetic explanation as to why they felt justified to do so. The people that work at Cobblestone are selfish, unprofessional, and should not be employed at such a venue if they care so little for the community or customers they are serving.

If you are thinking about having a wedding or event at an outdoor site in the Ann Arbor area, look anywhere else as Cobblestone Farm is a nightmare...
