, this is a must-see but be forewarned the last two to three miles cannot be taken with a regular car you must have a truck or 4 by 4 or Jeep very rough Terrain but absolutely breathtaking View it takes about three to three and a half hours from the main road driving on a dirt road and then threw rocks to get there but well worth it. This is the car after we got done going there plan on giving you were to wash when you're done also one more thing to know if you're there and it starts to rain you're probably going to be stuck there for a few days just something to know in advance trying to get out will be impossible due to the...

The museum has information about the all the people who have lived in Zions. There is also a 20 minute video you can watch that gives more information. The film shows every half hour. Depending on the day, you can even catch a ranger program about the geology of the park.

We visited the museum in between hikes because it was an easy way to rest and lean about Zion National Park. Be aware that if you are taking the shuttle to the museum that it is only available on the shuttle returning to the visitor center. It is like a 15 minute walk from the visitor center and my family enjoyed walking in the canyon...

Very small museum that was fairly simple and not that in-depth. The theater area was large and could accommodate a lot of people. The film was fairly new and inspiring which was nice compared to some of the extremely outdated films we've watched at other parks. Unfortunately I couldn't get the free wifi that they advertised to work. The gift shop was rather small but still had some unique items that I had not seen at other stores in the park so I would say it's certainly worth the stop. We specifically came back here for the post cards as they were cheapest here compared to...

Ranger talks are good, 22-minute video presentation could be updated. The buses from the Visitor's Center are often crowded in the morning (8-10am), but the 1.5 mile hike on the Pa'rus trail to the ZHHM (or ~2 miles to Stop 3) is a stunning one that no one seems to know about (i.e. much less crowded than every other hike). A great opportunity to be hiking in the morning and not standing in line!

"DECOMMISSIONED" My family and I were here on Thursday, August 8, 2024. I stopped here in hopes of stamping my passport book. There were signs outside that said, "Open Daily." We approached the front door and saw a sign that said, "use other door" with arrows pointing to a door on the side of the building. This door had a sign that said, "This facility has been decommissioned."
