Check out the Happy Creek Forest Walk in the North Cascades. This trail is a 0.3-mile ADA-accessible loop, great for kids and all skill levels. The highway that gets you to this trail is typically closed for the season from November to April due to heavy snowfall. SR 20 is on track to open in late April! #northcascades #pnw #ncnp #washington #calmingnature #forest #bestparkstovisit #adventure #creatorsearchinsights #scenicroute

I suffered immensely on the uphill for the waterfall. The group ahead of us said it was worth it and said we didn't have much longer. My definition of longer is different then theirs. Waterfall was tranquil and calming. The group that arrived behind us said the walk up was not worth it. The decline walk back was nice.

I did happy creek trail down to Ross Dam and back. Its fine going down, but remember you have to come back up! Still is was a lovely walk in the woods with some great views. Its cool how happy creek goes underground for a bit then comes out through its own little cave.

Went to the happy creek trailhead to do the Ruby Mountain summit during the early spring time. The trail ends in the middle of the forest where you are mostly staying in the middle of the trees. However, if you want to climb up to take a look at the entire Ross Lake and the background Hozomeen Mountain, you can’t really rely on this trail. You will need to climb much much higher to get a clear spot. It will then be strenuous, but definitely worth it. There are not really any dedicated parking spots. So parking at the Ross Dam...

We went to Diablo Lookout and were planning on having lunch there. It was pretty crowded so we decided to find a trail close by. We came across the Happy Creek Trail. There was only 1 other car parked at the trailhead. It's a very simple stroll along a boardwalk through beautiful forest. We found a bench that was right next to a small waterfall. We had a very peaceful lunch as nobody else passed by us. There is an option to continue on the trail after the boardwalk ends. If you want an easy beautiful hike in the...
