New to the area and have to say this place has great atmosphere, beautiful views and I really enjoyed the friendly bartender who filled me in on a few things about the local wineries however; they had a group event for a bunch of cyclists today and I really hope it’s not a regular thing because they were 1. Incredibly rude, boorish and condescending to the other patrons including an adorable little girl who was with her mom and the mom herself simply because the mom was looking at merchandise near some food that was left out (which by the way didn’t say who or what it was for) and 2. They were pretty disgusting, they were stretching out their gross sweaty legs and dirty feet/sneakers on furniture and food surfaces inside...some even left their Diet Coke cans and M&M’s laying around everywhere. I found their behavior, lack of manners, inability to keep their space clean and the level of disrespect shown to non-group members who were there to enjoy themselves to be a huge turn off. Other than that, I found the place to charming, whimsical and full of life. I would go back in a heartbeat, just not if that cycling group...
Read moreLongest Day of Year celebration with 2 bands. Bring your own glasses to get the 6 tastings for $8 vs $12. Bring your own chairs. Pets seem to be welcome. After 7 was playing from 2-5pm then County Line from 6-9pm. Both very good bands. Dancing on flagstone surface which is a little uneven but works. They had 2 porta-potties because I think the bathroom was broken. A cigar booth, quite a few people smoking cigars. View is really amazing, looking out over open rolling plains and the Huachuca mountains in the distance to the south east. Bottles of wine can be purchased and drunk outside, cheapest is $31. Lots of people were drinking a frozen wine drink that was in a clear plastic pouch and they were using a straw. Looked like maybe 16 or 20 oz. for $10. Food truck from Dante's Fire was there, very reasonably priced, e.g. Monte Cristo sandwich and fries for $8 which was excellent. They ran out of food by 6pm. Overall a...
Read moreI cannot recommend these folks highly enough. Not only was the peaceful, outdoor setting delightful with a warm desert breeze, but the wines were also delicious! I ordered a full case of Novello to be shipped to my home in Tennessee. They were very kind and fulfilled the order right away. However, UPS either lost, broke or stole the case and I did not see any delivery for over 5 months. After going around and around with UPS, I contacted Shannon at the winery and she was so accommodating and sorry for the inconvenience. Sadly, the batch of Novello that I wanted was sold out, and she went way above and beyond to dip into their personal stash, and added two bottles of their high-end red Cabernet, and re-fulfilled the whole case of wine for me. I will make it a plan to go to Sonoya, Arizona, when I am visiting my friends in Tucson next time. This place was absolutely delightful! And thank you so much to the staff for taking care...
