Read moreThe Meading Room is my happy place. It's super chill, with beautiful scenery and delicious drinks. They have events throughout the year, but it's also a perfect way to spend a quiet Saturday sipping mead and looking out at the hills (and sometimes horses and cows across the road). The variety of mead and cider is good, with dry and sweet flavors, and a lot of different fruits. They have a couple wines too, with Old No. 9 being my personal favorite. Read moreFun spot for a tasting with delicious and amazing alcohol options. Mead, cider, and fruit wines are hard to come by and this place has them all. A tasting here includes five of any of the aforementioned options. I liked the bubbly meads best, but all were excellent. One person in my group usually does not like alcohol, but liked two of the meads enough to buy bottles! The bartender (brewer, perhaps?) was excellent.
