Kings River Overlook Nature Trail Head — Attraction in Arkansas

Enjoyable hike on an old road that is now a hiking trail. Along the main trail are several short side trails that terminate at the cliff's edge. The main trail ends a half mile from the trailhead sign at the best overlook of the Kings River. NOTE: THE FIRST TRAIL SIGNPOST LEFT OF THE TRAILHEAD SIGN IS TOO FADED TO READ, SO WALK LEFT TO THE TRAIL, NOT RIGHT TO THE PARKING LOT!...

This is a nice place to hang out. It is a short hike from the parking area. If you don't want a go down the gulch, please take the trail by the gate (if you take this trail, this is an easy hike). Gorgeous overlook. The trail itself is short and easy. Do not expect solitude. Because of it's easy nature and picturesque overlook, you will get all sorts. Some loud, some drinking, lots of dogs, etc.
