Awesome playground, one of my kids (almost 4- year olds) favorite! Big variety of things to do including a big climbing net, ladders, balance-testing tunnel, slides. The playground has sections for 2-5 YOs and 5-12 YO but my kids go on almost everything. It's a pretty big playground with benches nearby and a big open space, with a few picnic tables I believe. Everything seemed to be in good shape minus a little innocuous spray paint (someone solidly spray- painted over one of the bubble-windows on the main climbing structure so you can't see through it but it's not a bad word or picture or anything). I don't think there is a bathroom but the playground is great!!!

Big park in Arlington with outside basketball court, baseball field, a few soccer goals (without nets), and high-quality jungle gym. The people IN the park are nice and friendly. Met a guy named Ruben at the basketball court that I played some pickup with and saw two families near the playground areas. However, there were a few random people idling in their cars in the parking lot. Not sure if trying to escape the heat or killing time before an event. Even with that, it still felt very safe as it’s right off a busy street and the park can get pretty active. Overall, giving it 5 stars since it’s well maintained and has a variety of amenities for park goers.

Finally got a chance to visit Deaver Park. It's quaint but it has charm. I love the available tables close to the playground. It helps to keep a close eye on the kids. There's also plenty of open ground to just run and play. There's a huge soccer field and basketball courts at this park. It's perfect for quick games. Lastly, there is a waking trail. That's cool and skating is allowed on the trail. This isn't the biggest park so the parking is adequate. Overall, another option in the neighborhood.

Decent enough park for children. The walkeway is small, and ends in dead ends, which leaves some things to be desired... like connected and complete wayways... Just saying. It is a comfortable place to just go, sit, and unwind. Baseball diamond is also incomplete, and more grass than a full diamond. Benches and picnic tables also make for a comfortable place to sit in the shade. The park is never too crowded, the people are friendly and offer a smile, but most stay to themselves. Not a bad place at all, but would be better with a little work. It id definitely more...
