The service here is completely inconsistent. The only "safe" time is when Mary and Kaylee (sp?) are there in the mornings/afternoons. The other night, we had to wait in line for nearly half an hour. Drinks were lined up for several cars and the guy at the window had no clue whose drink was whose. We actually dread when he is on window duty because he either has not been trained well enough to handle the load or has other issues. When we went through today, a different person couldn't bother to punch one of the bubbles on top to indicate which drink had the flavoring in it and had no clue which one it was. We got a shrug when we asked. I've worked fast food in the past. It is not a difficult procedure to keep your orders lined up. This place well you may get what you ordered or you may not. I'd advise checking everything. Everyone there needs to be retrained and taught how to handle lines. One night we sat at the order window, then drove around to the actual window and we saw everyone just standing around talking. They never even noticed we were at the window. We drove off so there was over $5 lost. Retraining, consistent management are required to make the process flow smoothly. Read moreThe speaker on the drive through has not been working for weeks and management/ownership seem to NOT care enough to fix the problem. I've brought it up to the cashier at the window several times and they just chuckle a bit and say "yeah it's not working right, we hear it all day from everyone". Please fix the speaker so this drive thru experience can get better. I ordered a limeade slightly and the young kid gives me a lime slush; which i didd not order. I asked him what that was and he's like that's the limeade slush you order. I let him know that's two different things with two different flavors....he then starts arguing with me how it's the same thing.... then what like like a manager, older Hispanic lady comes to "fix the issue" also starts arguing with me that ITS THE SAME THINGwell listen well, ITS NOT and every Sonic in DFW knows it. Ownership and Mangement please educate your staff before they insult our intelligence, break us down, ruin our drive thru experience and have to leave reviews ALERTING other guests that this location has gone down hill recently. Read moreI wish I could give the Sonic in Arlington, TX on Sublett Road a 0 Star because they don’t even deserve a 1 Star. That place is a joke. They have two different 800 #’s on their receipts. One is an 800# and the other one is an 866# I tried to call the local number for the manger but it rings busy because their phone is out of order……has been out of order for several months. Who runs a business like that. Charged me: 1) twice on bank card for same amount- one trip… 2) gave me wrong order - second trip…..3) had to wait 45 minutes for an order that should have been ready in 15 minutes…….and I could name MANY more.
