Glebe Road Park — Attraction in Arlington

A really nice neighborhood park full with some nice nature trails, a Nature center, an interesting restored 19th century cabin and some interesting recreational options like pickle ball, basketball and Tennis courts. There used to be a playground that I went to as a kid that went away decades ago and even swings that stayed around even longer, but last time I went it was all gone. I still like this park but Honestly there was something oddly nostalgically peaceful about sitting on old swings that could somehow still hold adult weight, on a quiet day in the park and just peacefully swinging while gathering...

Very poor tennis courts. There are three tennis courts, and pickleball, started to take over one court last year, to this year taking over two tennis courts. Therefore, there's left only one tennis courts for actually playing tennis. This is not right. Arlington County needs to build separate pickleball courts, and leave tennis...

This is a great place to go for a pickup game of basketball or tennis. It is well lit a night with free timed lighting. There are also a couple of miles of beautiful yrails that can be accessed from the bottom...
