A nice little neighborhood park sitting on the site of a historic, revolutionary war fort. There’s big open fields, signs and models describing the history of the area, a playground, a dog park and even a cannon. The playground is very well made and safe for kids despite having been there for decades. The dog park is spacious and fairly popular with local dog owners. Considering its status as a former fort If you’re into you’re into military history I recommend seeking this place out. Read moreDecent dog park, although the pea gravel/dirt ground is extremely dusty. If you have a dog that likes to roll around on the ground be aware that they'll probably need a bath afterward.
Bags are provided, there's a water source for the dogs, and benches and picnic tables for the people to sit. It seems well maintained with a good amount of info available at the bulletin board.

Many redoubts of the fort are decently preserved however part of the fort has been demolished and replaced by Old Glebe Road.
