This is a well appointed, modern cottage with comfortable furniture, a great mattress, a very nicely maintained hot tub, air conditioning, wi-fi, and a very servicable but small kitchen. It’s not really set up for more than two guests, but for two guests, it is extremely comfortable, even luxurious.||Add to this that the cottage is on the grounds of a spectacular winery in a beautiful spot in the Rogue River Valley; that the hosts provide a bottle of the estate-produced wine and local cheese, and that guests receive a complimentary wine tasting and discounts on purchases at the winery - and you have a real winner.||There is great hiking nearby. The town of Ashland, home of the internationally regarded Oregon Shakespeare festival, is a quick four mile drive away. ||I think any couple who stays here will be very pleased. It’s one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed on a road trip. ||Also, the wine is excellent and the staff in the tasting room could not be more pleasant...
