State Botanical Garden of Georgia Gift Shop — Attraction in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

Can't rave enough about our State Botanical Gardens. It's absolutely beautiful & well cared for. This weekend was the opening celebration of the brand new Alice Richards, Children's Garden. They've done a fabulous job on it. Our kids love it here. We love taking them in the main garden to experience all the beautiful gardens & unique flowers. We always get the prettiest pictures here & feel closer to God than ever while surrounded by all these creations that are stunning. The girls absolutely loved playing in the children's garden after, we can't wait to go back after each visit. Thanks for a job well done State...

The gardens are the ideal spot whether you have a family that wants to go out and hike several miles in the woods or a family that wants to take it really easy and sit on the grass and be around the flowers I think that one of the big features that's also really really good is the orchid gardens inside the main building there's been some brand new construction near the parking lot as well that accommodates guests very very easily there's good restrooms and the children's garden is great for little kids to big kids. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough it's one of my favorite things...

This is such a magical and beautiful place, especially when their light show is up. The Gardens are great for everyone, too. We bring our daughter, my hubby and I will stroll around, and it is great for a date with the girls. I highly recommend joining as a Friend of the Garden.
