A hidden gem in the city, this privately-owned, but publicly-open garden safeguards some of Atlanta’s oldest trees. Recently, the garden club worked with Tilting Windmill Landscape Design to clear out the non-native invasive species that were beginning to overrun the undergrowth. It's a cute little park if you'd like a quiet place to read. There's no visible parking areas except for roadside or street parking. There are some overgrown bushes and fallen trees but, there are a couple of open areas with a gazebo and benches provided. A small trail is found in the center. Only takes a few minutes to...

Great park on Emory Campus where you can feel like you're escaping the city without leaving the perimeter. Lots of paths to walk or run. There's an old mill, lake, river, bridge, and open grass to explore. Nice place to read a book or...
