As a member of fernbank museum of natural history, I can say that it's a very nice place and we go there often. It has dinosaurs, a wide variety of animals, playgrounds both inside and out, a movie theater which has some 45 minute movies about different things in earths history. It also has a place called "fantastic forces" which is a place where kids and adults alike can toy around and experiment with different things like earthquakes, quicksand, magnets, electricity, and more. Went last week to wildwood aglow and it was beautiful. I especially loved the music in sync with the lights. The event was good for spending time with family, friends, or just a date. You could also go to the little cafe and drink something while enjoying the view. I would recommend to visit the place after 7:30pm to make sure that is dark enough and enjoy even more the lights. We have visited several times with City pass tickets and loved it. This time was different. The playground attendant was super rude to several of my kids needlessly. It was supposed to be a highlight of the visit and turned out to put a damper on the rest of the day. Not sure if we'll ever return if this is the kind of "service" we can expect from what is supposed to be a kid...
