This venue is horrible for any mobility issues. It was built in the 40s and needs definitely to be renovated to accommodate our community. The venue is located in close proximity to a high-end residential area of Buckhead. The parking for this event, to say the least, isn't ideal at all. The traffic is bumper to bumper in a single file line. I rented a hotel room that was only 3.9 miles away, and the event was scheduled for 7:00 pm. I purchased a parking pass at the same time on the same website as my tickets for the concert. The parking was non-existent. The people who were directing us for parking had never heard of my parking ticket that I had, which stated indoor garage for handicapped accessible but it didn't exist according to employees. They stated they only had colored coded parking lots. The first one we encountered was blue, and it was full, which meant we were directed to continue to the next one that was supposed to be another color never saw it. People started getting out of the unorganized parking by parking in the nearby residential neighborhood streets and walking to the venue, which was approximately 2 miles, to say the least. Other people got in the Uber drop-off line that we had no previous knowledge of. We eventually found a parking space behind some buildings that were actually a part of Chastain Park. People with disabilities and elderly 60 plus had to walk this distance just to make it to the venue at this point it's after 8:00 pm. We finally arrived to the uphill long line to enter the venue. We finally got a ride on a golf cart to employees who were scanning your tickets to let you in only if you didn't bring a cooler or food, which is acceptable at this venue because it's outside. To only find out my seats weren't accessible for someone with mobility issues. We were told that they were going to make room for us so I could still attend the event. My tickets were just shy of being $200. We were given instructions to get on an elevator and get off and go to a second elevator and find a liaison named Sue, and she would be waiting on us so we could be seated. It never happened,we were stopped after we exited the elevator, tickets scanned again, and we told the elderly employee what we were instructed to do. He interns and says, "Let me get someone on the walkie-talkie. We wait and he tells us a supervisor is coming. Another wheelchair chair user comes off the elevator he leaves us and never returns. Eventually the person who gave us the original instructions comes by and sees us still standing there and apologized and said she will take us over to the second elevator that was located behind what looked like a secret bat cave that opened to complete darkness where police and security guards had to guide us by flashlights to another lady who pulled out a folding chair for my husband and motioned for us to join her and directed my husband to move his chair over where I could sit next to him. We are finally able to see the remainder of the concert after getting there at 8:45 and it started at 7:00 pm. The only reason the venue received 1 star is because the area we ended up seating in was closer to the stage than the actual tickets I purchased. We still had to endure the same procedure to return to our vehicle. We received a golf cart ride back to the bottom of the hill and prayed that my battery on my mobile chair made it back to...
Read moreWriting an honest review because I had seen so many bad ones about the parking in particular. First of all, fantastic venue way better than the roxy and dare I say the amphitheater in Alpharetta lol, the staff are very professional and are super organized when it comes to keeping lines moving (once gate opens), making sure everyone can find they're seat, etc. They have plenty of restrooms and plenty of food and drink options. Normally venues like this would charge an arm and a leg for a small watered down drink, that is not the case for this venue, everything is still expensive but you get your money's worth, me and my husband did a fountain drink for $5 which was the same size as the medium drinks in movie theaters and we also did a smirnoff for $16 which was huge as well, they poured any alcoholic beverages into large reusable cups and they had to pour the rest into a second cup because there was a lot left! Had a great time overall. Now to address the parking, we never had an issue with it because we did arrive early, I noticed most people started arriving into the parking lots an hour before the gate opened, which I could see where the problem would lie in that. If you want to find parking with no problems than get there at least an hour and a half before the gate opens if not sooner, ours didn't open until 6pm and we had gotten there at 4:30pm and we were one of the first few in the parking lot. There are signs for lots, but there aren't a lot of them, and I could see how it might be hard to see them at night. This venue is spack dab in the middle of a neighborhood though, you could even see the back of someone's house inside of the venue lol so please don't ask me why they chose that location to put an amphitheater but it's nice tho if you get there early because there is no traffic. I also want to mention that the gates are right next to the parking lots, so if you are waiting in line and want to bring stuff to do in the meantime, then I would definitely...
Read moreBuyer beware. I recently attended the Australian Pink Floyd concert at Cadence Bank Amphitheater. We decided to sit in the table section, which requires that tickets be purchased for all six seats. That worked out perfectly because there were six people in our party. Upon our arrival we found that so many tables were set up for this concert that we were unable to fit all six of us. After asking neighbors to move and shift their tables we were able to fit four of us at the six person table. The usher in that area informed us that this happens all the time and there was nothing he could do about it. The usher actually took away the two additional chairs because there was no room for them, even still folded. Two members of our group were forced to find empty seats in another area of the arena, outside of the more expensive table section and away from us. If that wasn't bad enough, they were embarrassed by being repeatedly told to move from other patrons' seats as they arrived. After multiple calls and emails to Ticketmaster and Live Nation, I was told too bad there would be no refund for the oversold tickets......even though they were aware of the issue. I wanted to leave this review for anyone who has not been to this venue or purchased table seats here as a warning that if you purchase six table seats there is a possibility that you may only be allowed to sit in four of those seats, even though you paid for all six. Save your money and go to a venue that appreciates their patrons. I've been coming here for decades with no issues. I can't imagine this would have happened when this was Chastain, before Cadence and...
