The word park can be deceiving for parents with kids however this place was the best of the best. As a parent I wanted to find walking trails and a really really good playground for my girls. I wanted a place that felt safe and was accommodating to each of my family members. The overall design of this playground almost felt never ending. The layout was perfect for just enough sun and shade where you wanted it and needed it. There was places for adults to chill places for older kids to play places for young ones and babies to play. Some of the slides for the bigger kids were so intense. It would almost scare most adults but the way they have it sectioned off and designed makes it to where each age group of kids can just about only play on that section that fits their age group. Because if you want to slide down the big huge slide you have to climb up inside a tube to get to it which is an awesome idea. It means that no little kids can just run up there on accident and slide down. Just follow the signs for playground and you will eventually see playground. If your wife tells you know you've gone too far. Don't listen. Just keep going. You will find it. And there's plenty other things to do there besides the playground there's baseball equestrian things to do. Just loads and loads of things to do for families and the best safe environment with the best quality materials for...

Chastain Park is a remarkable destination in Atlanta for those who enjoy walking, playing sports.

One of the park's most notable features is its extensive walking track, which provides ample space for visitors to stroll, jog, or run. Whether you're looking to get in some exercise, clear your mind, or simply enjoy the fresh air, the track is a fantastic option. It is well-maintained and scenic, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery.

Another highlight of Chastain Park is its massive golf course, which is one of the largest in the Atlanta area. The course is well-maintained.

In addition to the walking track and golf course, Chastain Park also boasts a wide variety of other sports facilities. Visitors can enjoy playing basketball, tennis, on one of the many fields and courts located throughout the park.

Overall, Chastain Park is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to get in some exercise, play sports, or simply relax Chastain Park is a must-visit...

Chastain park has a huge playground with a lot of unique and fun attractions (I seriously love the roller slides!). There is something for kids of all ages and the play area is surrounded by picnic shelters. It can get very crowded on a pretty day, but overall it's a super pleasant place to spend the afternoon.

I do have two gripes (I mainly include these in case the parks and recreation department reads these reviews): 1) Most of the park is in full sun for the majority of the day, which isn't ideal....especially for younger children. 2) One of the older portions of the playground has some rotting wood that is a trip/splinter hazard. These boards could easily and cheaply be replaced if someone took the...

The park was a great size. very open concept with an area for tounger kids with smaller slides and a 2 tiny house play areas. lots of plaxes for parents or caregivers to sit. The swings were very modern and large, plus the giant jungle gym was popular with my daughter and niece. This park even had a metal slide that was very unique indeed, that inhavent seen in cobb county. This park is also right across the street from the newly developed softball field. Great gem for kids and parents. Only issue is there is no clear path to leave, no walkway or gravel🤔. you just walk on the grass. to the street.

This park is really nice. A lot of things you see in the older pictures posted are no longer at this park, I was pretty bummed about that. Trail for walking/jogging plenty for kids to do. The only con is they don't have big kids swing set and only 2 seats of the baby swing, not enough in my opinion for the size of this place. Bathrooms are decent plenty of free parking. I have 5 kids ages 3 to 16 and I feel like children ages 7 and under would benefit and enjoy this park the most. YouTube- Momochronicles IG- XmomochroniclesX Facebook- Momochronicles
